Record limit?



The tool works great for me now (apologies for the slow turnaround to re-test. However, I have a hunch it has an issue where you are trying to look at an entity with more than 5000 records. I suspect it's 5000+ but can't be sure. When I click on an entity with more than 5000 records the screen just doesn't refresh/no results appear. The most I've had returned is an entity with 4247.

Just checked my Lead entity and it has 5908 records so there's definitely a 5000 limit.

It would be cool / a possible workaround (if this is a fetch xml aggregation issue) to be able to optionally select a system view to apply to each entity to enable the user to use a view which returns less than 5000 records.

What update rollup are you on? It uses aggregates, so by default the system should limit you to 50,000 records.

Sorry, I meant to say here are links not to necessarily change your environment but to find your CRM's aggregate query limit.

5k is the default limit for normal fetch queries and 50k is the default limit for aggregates. The data detective only uses aggregates, so I'm wondering if your aggregate limit is lower than it probably should be.
